Oring is designed to be used at each power supply terminal. When one power supply experiences a short
circuit, it protects the backup power supply voltage. If a short circuit occurs from the power supply to the ground line, the diode can prevent reverse current. Therefore, the system can isolate the faulty power supply and allow the backup power supply to take over.
