PC Power & PSU(SR)

In PC power supplies and synchronous rectification applications, MOSFETs play a critical role in improving power efficiency and reducing heat generation. By using low RDS(on) MOSFETs, power supplies can minimize conduction losses, allowing for more efficient energy conversion. In SR applications, MOSFETs replace traditional diodes, reducing voltage drops and significantly improving overall efficiency. Advanced MOSFET packaging, such as LFPAK and PDFN, further enhances thermal performance and ensures reliability in high-frequency.

Advantage:

The copper clip process reduces resistance, allowing a large copper plate to evenly distribute current across its surface, preventing localized hotspots. This enhances the chip’s short-circuit current handling capability.
